Sagot :
Bonjour
Reformule les phrases en utilisant
BE SAID TO ou BE SUPPOSED TO à la bonne forme
"be supposed to" ne nécessite pas forcément la voix passive
"be said to" nécessite une construction à la voix passive
a. Some people say a girl cries over nothing.
Some people say a girl is supposed to cry over nothing
b. In the 19th century, men said women were inferior.
In the 19th century, women were said to be inferior by men. (voix passive)
c. People say that men are better drivers than women.
Women were said to be less good drivers than men. (voix passive)
d. They think girls should like pink.
They think girls are supposed to like pink.
e. Some people say I should be very organized because I am a girl.

Bonjour,
Réponse :
a. Some people say a girl cries over nothing. ( idée reçue )
==> A girl is said to cry over nothing.
On ne réuttilise pas "some people" qui est sous entendu à la forme passive
b. In the 19th century, men said women were inferior. ( idée reçue )
==> In the 19th century, women were said to be inferior .
Le complément d'agent est sous entendu.
c. People say that men are better drivers than women. ( idée reçue )
==> Men are said to be better drivers than women.
d. They think girls should like pink. ( ils disent ce que les filles sont censées aimer )
==> Girls are supposed to like pink.
e. Some people say I should be very organized because I am a girl. ( on parle de ce que je suis censée faire, ce qu'ils attendent de moi )
==> I am supposed to be very organized because I am a girl.
Explications :
Différence « be said to » et « be supposed to »
Lorsqu’il s’agit d’une idée reçue, d’un stéréotype on utilise : be said to Pour parler de ce que quelqu’un est censé faire, ce que l’on s’attend à ce qu’il fasse : be supposed to
- Les deux ( "be said to" et "be supposed to" ) on une construction passive:
sujet + be said to + base verbale
sujet + be supposed to + base verbale
- ne pas oublier de conjuguer "be" à la bonne personne et au bon temps.
