Street art is a reallt fascinating thing, at first, we could think that when banksy first painted it, he was not expecting all of this attention because it is a simple work: a girl with a ball, a pink heart. But the success of it, made by people reproducing the girl everywhere, in the streets of London in particular, is probably why today, we all know it.
The second part of its success was when banksy failed the destruction of the piece making it becoming one of the most expensive one’s. Personally, I don’t feel like it is an amazing painting, but the story of its really interested me and the simplicity of the colors could make it feel sensitive. It’s also representing the goodbye, or a love destroyed. I don’t really know what to think about the meaning but one thing is sure: it’s too much expensive for me
