Emmeline Pankhurst was born Emmeline Goulden on the 15th of july 1858 and died on the 14 of juin 1928.
Through her hole life she fought for women to get the right to vote. She was one of the most famous sufragettes.
In 1879, she maried Richard Pankhurst a lawyer engaged for the sufragettes cause. She will have five children with him:

In 1903 she enters the "Women's Social and Political Union" (WSPU)
She will chain herself to the gate of Buckingham palace along with thousands of other women.
She will get arrested many times, organise hunger strikes... etc
She dies in 1928 of illnesses
Her most famous saying is: "Make deeds not words."
