Sagot :
Bonjour,
Réponse :
A- Don’t turn off the TV! My cousins are watching it. They think this programme is very interesting but my uncle doesn’t agree with them so, he isn’t watching it now.
( "think" et "agree" ne se mettent pas au présent BE+ing )
B- You can’t go out: the repairman is knocking at the door and he doesn’t like waiting.
( "like" ne se met pas au présent BE + ing // " Il n'aime pas attendre: c'est en général, se n'est pas en cours.. )
C- Jack usually buys English CDs but today he is listening to French singers.
D- My father isn’t at home. He is doing the shopping at the supermarket because my parents are having a party next Friday.
( ici "are having" a un sens futur, c'est organisé )
E- Jane is sitting in her bedroom with Tina. They aren’t playing cards, they are working. Generally, Jane doesn’t do her homework in her bedroom, she always does it in the living-room.
F- Fred’s parents don’t believe that I don’t have a comfortable car.
( believe ne se met pas en BE + ing )
G- I am not reading because the children are standing on my bed!
H- Pamela enjoys children in general. She often babysits and she wants to be a teacher. She doesn’t have lots of patience.
( enjoy; want pas de présent BE + ing // She doesn’t have lots of patience : comme le monsieur de la phrase B qui n'aime pas attendre, Elle n'a pas beaucoup de patience, cela la définit : présent simple )
Explications :
Présent simple : vérité générale, habitude ...
Présent BE + ing : action en cours, en train de se dérouler
Attention à certains verbes qui ne se mettent pas ( ou dans de rares exceptions ) au présent BE + ing
