Une fonction affine s'écrit de la forme ax + b où a est le coefficient directeur de la droite et b est l'ordonnée à l'origine.
a = yB - yA / xB - xA = 2 - ( - 2 ) / - 2 - 5 = 2 + 2 / - 7 = 4 / - 7 = - 4/7
On a l'expression f ( x ) = - 4/7x + b
On a A ( 5 ; - 2 ) ou x = 5 et y = - 2.
- 2 = - 4/7 * 5 + b
- 2 = - 20/7 + b
b = - 2 + 20/7 = - 14/7 + 20/7 = 6/7
On a l'expression f ( x ) = - 4/7x + 6/7
