1- I asked them when they thought they would be ready for the challenge.
2- The boy confirmed that they hadn't lacked respect to the old lady.
3- I questioned my wife why she was refusing to return my family's invitation.
4- He begged his mother to, please, forgive him because (he knew) he had made a big mistake. (j'ai rajouté "he knew" à cause du "please X 2)
5- She declared (ou argued with me) that I was asking her to do all the chores by herself ...(désolé, je vois pas la fin.... dis-moi en comment)
