1) This law had a huge impact on society. Up until that period of time, no one of colour or race other than white were allowed to vote. “Voting rights act of 1965” would have changed the world for many people. It had a large impact on society because it made people of color feel more even and equal.
2) It obviously wasn’t only black citizens who were affected by these mesures.. it could of also affected any other race that’s not white. For example, Asian, Mexican, Arabic, Indian and many more.
