Steps of the recipe

   Mix the dry ingredients (flour, salt, bicarbonate)

   Add the oil and boiling water, mix vigorously (can be done in a food processor)

   The dough should be sticky, if not, add a little more water

   Pour into a piping bag with a wide, fluted tip and leave in the fridge for 30 minutes

   Heat the frying oil to 180°C or use a high-sided pan, in which case do not put more than 2 cm of oil in the bottom

   Drop 10-15 cm long sticks into the fryer and cook for 3 minutes until the churros are golden brown

   Sprinkle with sugar and serve with chocolate sauce

   For the chocolate sauce: put the broken chocolate and the cream in the microwave for 1 minute, smooth with a whisk. Enjoy!
