Hey there, I don't know how long your essay should be, but here's a start:
With the COVID-19 pandemic, many countries force their residents to be vaccinated (or otherwise severely incite them by restricting activities you can do without the vaccine), we can ask ourselves the advantages and disadvantages of vaccination as a whole.
Firstly, vaccination poses a health risk, due to the possibility of adverse reactions from the patient, usually resulting in soreness, allergic reactions, and a reduction of the vaccine's effect.
Secondly, it is important to remember that vaccination is a means of not getting a specific disease, but doesn't allow to cure a disease you currently have.
Thirdly, vaccines will usually only work for a very specific disease, meaning a separate vaccine has to be used for a variant of the original sickness, or for another disease altogether.
However, vaccination is also a great tool that has allowed us to eradicate multiple diseases all around the world. It has probably saved millions of lives since its original creation.
Moreover, vaccines are the object of intense scientific research, which has allowed humans to study viruses and bacteria more thoroughly than otherwise, and develop new curing methods.
Overall, vaccination is an essential method for preventing a sickness from spreading, possibly even completely eradicating it completely, but it is necessary to factor in the risks and specificities of vaccination.
Hope this was enough. I'll add a note that vaccination (especially now) is a pretty sensitive subject. You do not have to agree with me, I just tried to fit positive and negative points as I could. Up to you to add / remove some.
Good luck and good day.
