Bonjours , j’ai un devoir d’anglais à rendre pour mercredi 15 décembre , pouvez vous m’aider svp j’y arrive pas

1. When he was 18 years old, Levi Strauss left his home in Bavaria hoping to find
the American dream. He took some heavy cloth from Nimes. He did not know it
was going to make him.rich-and-famous.

2. Strauss arrived in the West at the time of the Gold Rush, with thousands of gold
miners. He soon realised that instead of using his cloth to make tents and wagon
covers, it was better to use it to make strong pants. In 1850 the first pair of Levi's
was made.

3. In the next 80 years blue jeans became an important part of the working man's
uniform. They were worn by cowboys, miners and farmers. By the 1930s Levi's
jeans had become an accepted fashion. They were adopted by young people in
the 1950s as a symbol of their rebellion against society and desire for freedom.

4. Since the 1960s, blue jeans have become the most popular clothes in the world.
Many people have several pairs of jeans, one for sports, one for going to the
disco, one for going to school, one for going to work.

5. ! Today Levi Strauss is still a family business based in San Francisco, but it is
also a multinational business, with headquarters in Brussels. 11

6. Fashions may change, different styles or colours may become popular, but the
advertising slogan of " the best quality for the best price " || that was used to sell
the first Levi's jeans is still used to day. 11 And the approximately four billion
dollars spent on Levi's all over the world in 1990 prove that thousands of people
agree. //
