I walked inside the steps of one of the most beautiful buildings in America and I was in awe. The outside was covered by a fresh coat of white paint and of course there was the Americain Flag at the top. First of all, I walked inside this massive corridor that had a checkered pattern on the floor. There were beautiful statues everywhere and on the left, I saw some stairs that were covered with a red carpet and the railing was shiny and gold. After that, I went into the President's office. It was absolutely stunning. Historical paintings were hung upon the wall, there was the President's desk that had stamps, letters, mail, computers and other work objects. Even his bin was the colour gold. Last but not least, I saw the ginormous kitchen where there were multiple cooks and servants who would prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for the President and his family. Overall, it was an amazing experience that was a once in a lifetime oppurtunity. I certainly didn't take this oppurtunity for granted.
