DACA is a program that was put in place to help undocumented children under the age of 15 years old to be able to access rights like being able to get a work permit, medical coverage and also going to school. if you reach the requirements then you will avoid being deported. They have to renew it every 2 years.
It changed their lives because it helps them getting jobs, apartments, and giving them a better way of life. Unfortunately, the recipients of the DACA can never seek citizenship or even be a permanent resident.
Being able to apply and be a DACA recipient ease your mind and fear of being deported. It gives you the opportunity to be documented and to act freely in the country.
