L’histoire de l’Écosse commence il y a environ 12 000 ans avec l’arrivée des premières populations humaines dans l’actuelle Écosse après la fin de la glaciation du Würm. De nombreux artefacts des civilisations des âges de la pierre, du bronze et du fer ont été retrouvés, mais peu présentent des traces d’écriture.

I had just moved in a new house with all my family and my cat. During the day time I could feel a presence and during the night, my cat was barking all teh time. And all of a sudden I could not hear him any more. I went downstairs to check what had happened and he was dead ! I ran back up to my bedroom and curled up under my doona blanket, waiting for morning. The next day I told everything to my parents and they didn’t believe me, so I showed them the dead cat and then we felt a freezing cold wint in the house and they started to freak out..
