Racism is caused by the selfishness of people who think they're superior to another human being because of their " race" , Scientific racism , Discriminatory policies , Media representation , failure to recognize racism in oneself for example people aren’t good at recognizing racism in themselves. Many believe that racism can only look like slavery, segregation, or specifically-negative and harsh references to race.
