*Située à environ 15 kilomètres au sud de Cambridge, Duxford est surtout connue pour son aérodrome qui fut une importante base aérienne durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La base de Duxford hébergea notamment le "Big Wing" de Douglas Bader. Après le conflit, Duxford fut un temps une base de l'USAF, elle héberge aujourd'hui le célèbre Imperial War Museum.

Located about 15 kilometers on the south of Cambridge, Duxford is mostly known for his aerodrome which was an important air-base during the World War II. Duxford air-base notably hosted the "Big Wing" from Douglas Bader. After the conflict, Duxford became a USAF base for a time, it contains today the famous Imperial War Museum.
