It is a steal arch bridge which carries road and rail traffic accross its span which is 503 meters long.
There is also a cycle track which allows cyclists to cross Port Jackson which another name for Sydney Harbour.
The summit of the bridge which you can climb to the top is 154 meters above the sea level which means you have a spectacular view of the city and the Blue Montains which are in the distance.
