Il faut faire des phrases avec "IF" ==> Conditionnel

Il y en a plusieur en anglais:

1st conditional :  if + présent  ===> will + verb

2nd conditional:  if + prétérit ===> would + verb

Toutes tes phrases peuvent se mettre au 1st ou 2nd ( en fonction de ce que l'on souhaite exprimer )

1st : If you follow these tips you will write good covers.

( Si tu suis ces conseils, tu auras ... )

2nd : If you followed these tips you would write good covers.

( Si tu suivais ces conseils, tu aurais ...)

2 - you / write a cover letter

1st : If you write a cover letter you will probably go through a job interview.

( Si tu écris une lettre de motivation tu passeras probablement un entretien d'embauche )

2nd : If you wrote a cover letter you would probably go through a job interview.

( Si tu écrivais une lettre de motivation tu aurais probalement ... )

( Can ne peut pas se mettre au futur, il faut utiliser son équivalent " be able to" )

1st: If I find an odd job my parents will be enthusiastic.
