Bonjour,
Il faut faire des phrases avec "IF" ==> Conditionnel
Il y en a plusieur en anglais:
1st conditional : if + présent ===> will + verb
2nd conditional: if + prétérit ===> would + verb
Toutes tes phrases peuvent se mettre au 1st ou 2nd ( en fonction de ce que l'on souhaite exprimer )
1 - you / follow these tips
- you / write a good cover letter
1st : If you follow these tips you will write good covers.
( Si tu suis ces conseils, tu auras ... )
2nd : If you followed these tips you would write good covers.
( Si tu suivais ces conseils, tu aurais ...)
2 - you / write a cover letter
- you / probably go through a job interview
1st : If you write a cover letter you will probably go through a job interview.
( Si tu écris une lettre de motivation tu passeras probablement un entretien d'embauche )
2nd : If you wrote a cover letter you would probably go through a job interview.
( Si tu écrivais une lettre de motivation tu aurais probalement ... )
3 - my sister / read these ads
- I'm sure she / apply for one of these odd jobs
1st : If my sister reads these ads I'm sure she will apply for one of these odd jobs.
2nd: If my sister read these ads I'm sure she would apply for one of these odd jobs.
4 - you / give me the job
- I/ do my best to help you in the shop
1st: If you give me the job I'll do my best to help you in the shop.
2nd : If you gave me the job I would do my best to help you in the shop.
5 - I/ run errands for old people
- I/ get some pocket money
1st: If I run errands for old people I will get pocket money.
2nd: If I ran errands for old people I would get pocket money.
6 - this mother / put an ad in the local paper
- she / find a babysitter
1st: If his mother puts an ad in the local paper she will find a babysitter.
2nd: If his mother put an ad in the local paper she would find a babysitter.
7 - you / be ready to start work tomorrow, early in the morning
- I/ give you the job
1st: If you are ready to start work I will give you the job.
2nd: If you were ready to start work I would give you the job.
8 -job seekers / have skin allergies
- they / not be able to get a job in a service station
1st: If job seekers have skin allergies they will not ( = won't )be able to get a job in a service station.
2nd: If job seekers had skin allergies they would not ( = wouldn't ) be able to get a job in a service station.
9 - my brother/get a job in a music store
- he / can advise customers
1st: If my brother gets a job in a music store he will be able to advise customers.
( Can ne peut pas se mettre au futur, il faut utiliser son équivalent " be able to" )
2nd: If my brother got a job in a music store he would be able to advise customers.
10 - I/ find an odd job
- my parents / be enthusiastic
1st: If I find an odd job my parents will be enthusiastic.
2nd: If I found an odd job my parents would be enthusiastic.
