2. The narrator of the text is probably an Aboriginal child who was separated from his family.
3. Before they were 10 years old, these kids lived in Bomaderry Children's Home, then they would be separated between boys and girls. Boys would go to Kinchela Boy's Home.
4. The problem the narrator mentions is the terrible living conditions at Kinchela Boy's Home. They were not treated as childrens but simply as numbers, it was very strict, they shaved their hair, they were imprisoned behind gates.
