James Dean was born on February 8, 1931. He was an only child. His mother died at the age of 29 and his aunt brought him up. When he was 18, he studied drama in Los Angeles and in New York. He did'nt like New York. At the age of 23, he played the lead part in East of Eden and soon became a star. A year later, he acted in the film "Rebel Without a Cause". That year he bought a Porsche; He lost his life in a car accident in September 30, 1955.
