Simone Biles was born on March 14, 1997, in Columbus, Ohio, she is an American artistic gymnast. With a combined total of 30 Olympic and World Championship medals, Biles is the most decorated American gymnast and the world's third most decorated gymnast.
At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Biles won 4 individual gold medals; 3 bronze medals in balance beam; and gold as part of the United States team, dubbed the "Final Five". In total she won 14 gold medals and 2 silver medals. Simone Biles demonstrated her abilities as a gymnastics prodigy at the age of 19 years old.
