Le passif =
subet + BE ( conjugué au temps de la voix active) + participe passé + complément d'agent introduit par "by"
BE - au présent = am/ are / is
BE - au prétérit = was / were
BE - au futur = will be
BE - au présent perfect = has been / have been
Participe Passé ( 3ème colonne des verbes irréguliers )
Mettez ces phrases à la voix passive :
1. Edward took the job.
phrase au prétérit donc, à la voix passive : was + participe passé
The job was taken by Edward.
2. The president made a long speech.
A long speech was made by the president.
3. The players wear red shirts.
phrase au présent donc, à la voix passive : are + participe passé
Red shirts are worn by the players.
4. The police looked for the criminals.
The criminals were looked for by the police.
5. Helen will buy the theatre tickets.
phrase au futur donc, à la voix passive : will be + participe passé
The theatre tickets will be bought by Helen
Mettez ces phrase à la voix passive sans complément d'agent :
1. He stole Philip's bike.
