Steve Jobs, born in San Francisco (California) on 24 February 1955 and died in Palo Alto (California) on 5 October 2011, is an American entrepreneur and inventor, often called visionary[1], and a major figure in consumer electronics, Notably pioneer of the advent of the personal computer, digital player, smartphone and tablet. Co-founder, CEO and Chairman of the US multinational company Apple Inc., he also heads the Pixar Studios and became a member of the Disney board of directors when Disney bought Pixar in 2006.
