Sagot :
In June 2016, in the city of Lamu, Kenya, Ben Morison founded (found veut dire trouver mais je crois que tu veux dire ici que Morison a créé ce projet: utilisés created, designed) the boat called "the flipflopi" which is not a regular boat. Indeed this boat was built from recycled elements. More than ten tons of plastic waste were used, as well as 30,000 flip-flops refitted. The flipflopi was launched in September 2018 and recently completed its first revolutionary expedition of more than 500 km between Kenya and Zanziba. Ben Morison launched this project to show the potential plastic already has but also to show to the population that there is a lot of plastic on beaches. Sailing along the African coast, the boat shows a direct impact on the tourism industry and engaged communities, policy makers and businesses in serious discussions on plastics and on the environment. I discovered this magnificent project thanks to a YouTube video and I learned more about it through some websites. Regarding the flipflopi boat, I think that this is a very good (évites “good” et “bad”-> utilise plutôt: witty, useful,...en fonction de ce que tu trouves bien dans ce projet) project because it will be able to make people aware of ocean pollution and also promote recycling in the same time. This project proves that with only flip flops we can reuse plastic wastes.
