E (x) = x² + 6 x + 9 - 25  = x² + 6 x - 16

E (x) = ( x + 3 - 5 ) ( x + 3 + 5 )  =  ( x - 2 ) ( x + 8 )

E  (x) = 0

x = 2 ou - 8   = équation produit nul vu au collège  

E (x ) = - 16

 x² + 6 x - 16  = - 16

x² +  6 x = - 16 + 16

x² + 6 x = 0

x ( x +  6 ) = 0

x = 0 ou - 6

E (x) = - 25

( x + 3 )² - 25

( x + 3 )² - 25 = - 25

( x + 3 )² = - 25 + 25

( x + 3 )² = 0

x = - 3
