Terry Jones grew up in Kamran, in Surrey, where his parents settled while it was only five years old. After his primary education, he moved to the Royal School of Guildford. It is in the school setting to affirm his inclinations for rugby and the cinema.
A fan of American comedian Danny Kaye, Terry Jones knocks at the door of several illustrious universities, before being admitted to St Edmund Hall, Oxford. While working on the Isis magazine, he undertakes with his friend Michael Rudman in the Experimental Theatre Company, troupe that brings it to reach as many Brecht to the spectacle of cabaret.
