pour une action passé, courte et terminée, souvent datée (last year, yesterday...)
le past continuous ou prétérit + Be + BV -ing
pour une action passée qui était en cours à ce moment là.
On a souvent les 2 past dans une même phrase
ex= I was coming from Heathrow Airport when I heard the news.
j'étais en train de venir de Heathrow quand j'entendis les infos.
Mais attention, deux actions peuvent être simultanément en train de se faire >>
