Natalie Portman, whose real name is Natalie Hershlag, is a very popular and talented actress. Born in 1981 in Jerusalem, Israel, she moved to the USA with her family when she was three years old. Her first role was in the French film Léon, which is an action movie. She caught the attention of critics and audiences thanks to her performance and acted in five films between 1995 and 1997, including Tim Burton's sci-fi comedy Mars Attacks! In 1997, she took a break from the big screen and spent a year on Broadway to perform in The Diary of Anne Frank. The play was a huge success. However, she became internationally famous when she played Princess Amidala in Star Wars I twenty years ago. Even if she was becoming a successful actress, Natalie was also determined to perfect her education. She studied at Harvard University from 1999 to 2003 and earned a degree in psychology. In 2006, she won a Golden Globe Award for her role in V for Vendetta. Five years later, she got an Oscar and other awards thanks to her peformance in Black Swan, in which she portrayed a ballerina. Bonjour

Réponse :

  • when -> "she moved to the USA when she was three years old"
  • to take a break from -> "she took a break from the big screen"
  • to spend time ->  "and spent a year on Broadway to perform in The Diary of Anne Frank."
  • some time later ->  "Five years later, she got an Oscar"
  • in + [year] -> "She married Benjamin Millepied, a French ballet dancer, in 2012"
  • between [year] and [year] -> "acted in five films between 1995 and 1997"

Traduction :

  • when = quand
  • to take a break from something = faire une pause dans quelque chose
  • to spend time = passer du temps
  • some time later = quelques temps plus tard
  • in + [year] = en + [année]
  • between [year] and [year] = entre les années ... et ...

Explications :

Je ne suis pas sûr de ce que ton/ta prof entend par "expression de temps", mais voilà ce que j'ai pu trouver qui pourrait s'en rapprocher.

Cheers ;)
