Bonjour

Conjuque les verbes entre parenthèses au prétérit à la forme affirmative puis à la forme négative:

FORME AFFIRMATIVE

She was tired / They were tired

I took a picture on Big Ben

You went to the Tate Modern Museum.

We saw a play by Agatha Christie

They bought a pair of sneakers.

He ate fish and chips.

? drank some tea.

?  was (were si sujet pluriel) at home yesterday evening.

au prétérit, le verbe ne change pas quel que soit le sujet.

Sauf be = I , he, she, it was/ you, we, they were

have = partout pareil > had

-

FORME NEGATIVE

on va se servir de l'auxiliaire did (prétérit de "do")

sujet + did + not (= didn't) + Base Verbale

They weren't tired. / I wasn't tired

He didn't take a picture of Big Ben.

She didn't go to the Tate Modern Museum.

I didn't see a play by Agatha Christie.

You didn't buy a pair of sneakers.

We didn't eat fish and chips.

They didn't drink some tea.

He wasn't at home yesterday evening.

le nombre de sujets y est dans la partie négative

Dis-toi simplement, que, quel que soit le sujet, ce sera

affirmatif => sujet + prétérit du verbe

négatif => sujet + did + not + Base Verbale

il n'y a que pour be que ça change.

pas d'auxiliaire au pluriel, juste ajout de "not"

I was  /// wasn't

you were  /// weren't

he, she, it  was // wasn't

we were  // weren't

you were  // weren't

they were  // weren't

-

bonne soirée ☺☺☺
