Wishes / Regrets about the past
On utilise ‘wish/if only’ + past perfect pour parler d’un événement passé dont on aurait aimé qu’il se passe différemment (mais il est trop tard!).
Ex : I lost at Bingo.
I wish I hadn’t lost. OU If only I had won.

They ate too much chocolate… They're feeling very sick now.
They wish they __________________________________________________.
I didn’t work very hard at school.
If only I __________________________________________________.
We had a very bad mark. __________________________________________________ I missed my bus this morning. _________________________________________________
Emily didn’t pass her driving test. ______________________________________________
