She had given birth to the smallest baby in the village. He was no bigger than the size of a thumb. She and her husband were thrilled despite the size of their son. They fell in love with him the second their eyes had laid on him. He had the most beautiful smile. The colour of his eyes was a spitting reflection of the turquoise Mediterranean sea.
As the years went by, little Thomas had made friends with the insects living in the garden. His three best friends were Zach, the bee; Poppy, the ant; and Bluffy, the spider. They spent all their time together. Zach taught him how to make honey, Poppy showed him how to hide and store his treasures while Bluffy built the best hammocks.
Thomas had a good heart and was always concerned a tall human would squash one of his friends (especially Poppy). He wanted to protect his friends from the dangers of the outside world. He began to work a plan with the ambition to protect the insects all over the world. Why wouldn't the humans be punished as criminals for killing intentionally any living creatures?
