My grandpa was born in 1923, he lived at a place called Le Chambon, near the bottom of France. He want to a college were he studied to become a soldier in the army. When he turned twenty, he married my grandmother, Helen Lennox, a young woman from Canada. Even though she was young, she was seven years older than my grandfather ! After a few years of married life, my grandfather left his house to go fight in the second world war. He fought for two years, until he got badly wounded, and had to stay in a hospital, beside cadavers, for more than three months. He wasn't very conscious during that time, and he didn't know that his wife had their first child during his suffering. It was a girl ! They named her Evelyne, and when she was three, her and her parents went to England to visit relatives, and everyone couldn't pronounce her name properly, so they called her Bubsey. After that, the name Bubsey stoock, and even my grandfather started calling her like that, soon followed by his wife. After a few years, my grandfather left my grandmother. During that time, my grandmother had another child, this time a boy, who she called Charles. My grandfather, after having found out that she had bore a son, returned to live with my grandmother, and nicknamed his son Bambi. My grandfather had to have serious opperations after the birth of his son, because of his wound of the seond world war which had stopped. When he finnaly totaly recovered from his operations, he witnessed the birth of his third child, and second son. He called this one John - David as a double name. Because this last son was the baby of the family, my grandmother nicknamed his Baby. My granfather still lives today, and his physical situation has worsened because of the wound he got during the war. My grandmother is very good physically, but she has alzeihmers.
