It was on a Saturday when that incident occurred. My family and I were going out on our outing, and everything went fine. We had gone to an animal petting farm, where we could pet goats and hold baby pigs, and even have a twenty-minute pony ride. But after all that fun, we had to get home, so we all got in the car. My parents sat on the front seats, and my sister Margot and I sat on the two back seats close to the side doors. The way home was about two hours, and as we lived in San Francisco, there are lots of touristic places, so we stopped at a Granitas shop, and my mum bought a granita each for Margot and me. We quickly got back in the car as we wanted to be home before dark. We went over the famous San Francisco bridge, and when we got to about the middle of it, it trembled, making all the cars bump into the side barriers. Margot and I hugged each other, and my dad let go of the steering wheel, and held my mother’s hand tightly. The bridge broke in half and metal poles fell, and one fell right in front of our car. Thankfully, it stopped our car, and we got saved.
