pour mettre à la passive voice, le COD de l'actif devient sujet de la voix passive, puisque le sujet subit l'action. Le sujet de la voix active devient complément d'agent introduit par "by" (on ne le met que s'il apporte une précsion essentielle)
BE est conjugué au temps de la voix active + participe passé du verbe

6. Mike called John to talk about the party.
John was called by Mike to talk about the party.
7. He bought me a car. (2 constructions possibles)
I was bought a car by him. / ou / A car was bought to me by him
8. The teacher was explaining chemistry to the kids when you came in.
Chemistry was being explained to the kids by the teacher when you came in.
9. He wrote an interesting book.
An interesting book was written by him.
10. Ms Mendez teaches us Spanish. (2 constructions possibles)
We are taught Spanish by Ms Mendez./ ou / Spanish is taught to us by Ms Mendez.
11. The teacher helped her.
She was helped by the teacher.
