Les formes interrogatives et négatives avec BE
Lorsqu'un verbe est utilisé au prétérit, on se sert de l'auxiliaire "did" pour formuler les interrogations ou négations + la Base Verbale.
did + sujet + Base Verbale + ?
sujet + did + not + base Verbale.
MAIS ==>
BE étant déjà un auxiliaire, on n'utilise pas "did"
Il suffit pour les interrogations d'inverser sujet /was ou were
was/ were + sujet + ?
pour les négations on ajoute simplement "not"
sujet + was/were + not (forme contractée = wasn't / weren't
