First of all, the Yacine's mall is a huge shopping center composed of eleven parts precisely distributed in order to attract all family members and make a lot of profit.
First and foremost, the shopping center is separated in two parts, at the left there is the " relaxation room" which is composed of a library, "gaming house" , "miss cookies", "toy stories"... whereas at the right there is the "shopping room" which is composed of a DIY shop, ZARA, a supermarket... The reason why the layout of the mall is like this is to lure not only the people who want to buy something but also the people who just want to take a sit, read a book with some snacks or a coffee. Furthermore the Yacine's mall also uses cross merchandising for instance the DIY shop is next to the furniture store, in the same way Basic Fit is next to the healthy food store, as a result the customers have an interest to both and it increases the sales of both.
Moreover this shopping center offers a moment of tranquility for the parents, indeed, close by the entrance hall there is "toy stories" it is a place where the kids do some activities such as painting, drawing... while their parents are going shopping, consequently the adults stay longer and do more purchases without hearing "When are we going home?".
In addition, in the middle of the "relaxation room" there are "Miss Cookies" and "starbear" to tempt especially the young people who are in "gaming house", at the library or in "toys stories" to buy cookies, coffee or something else.
Then, the only supermarket of the mall is located in the center of the "shopping room" consequently customers who want to buy popular staples like milk, meat, egg will pass by the DIY shop, furniture store, clothes store... and spend more time wheeling past the other temptations.
In conclusion, the layout of Yacine's mall is designed to attract all kind of customers and to prolonge their trip with the aim of making profit. To conclude I have the feeling that a lot of shopping center or app use many tactics to push customers to make useless purchases so I don't think that's quite right.
