Nowadays, Barbie is no longer an example for young girls. Us, young girls, we have the choice to be whoever we wish to be. Barbie, is represented as a girly girl. Which shouldn't be an example. Why push us to be a girly one like Barbie? We can as well be mentally as manly as the Hulk, why not? We are all different in this world, wouldn't it be quite unfair if every girls would be judged if they don't have a body as nice as Barbie's, a face as pretty as Barbie's, or even a different personality from Barbie? I have nothing against girls that are like Barbie, I'm just saying, that they shouldn't take a single person or cartoon character to set an example for the rest of the girls in the world. So, no, Barbie is not an example for young girls and maybe have never been, since we all got our own opinions.
