This document is a cartoon in black and white, it shows a boy on the phone sitting in a messy room, he is calling the NSPCC because his parents shut him again. We know it because of the sentence below the document "Hello... is that the NSPCC? Look here, they've shut me in my room again!"
In the foreground there is all over the floor scattered discs, a record player and a tape recorder. In the back, we notice some toys like a teddy bear or even a rocking horse next to a television. The boy is lying on a cushion.
In my opinion, this boy is a spoilt child. He is complaining about his parents but i think that he is exaggerating. He don't seem miserable, he seems to get everything he wants from his parents and thinks he can behave as he wants : not cleaning his room etc...
To conclude, I think that this young boy is quite funny because of how he exaggerates his calm situation where there is no need to call the NSPCC .
