I present Harriet Tubman, Harriet Tubman was born around 1822 in a Maryland plantation and she died the 10th March 1913 in Auburn, she was an American activist for the abolition of African-American slavery, for feminism and racism. During her childhood a part of her family was dispersed in several plantations. Her mother was a role of model for Harriet because when she was a child, she saw her stand up to white owner came to buy one of her daughters. And she adopted an important religious fervor after she was hit on her head when she was 12. Harriet Tubman is so famous because, at the time she started an expedition to Philadelphia, she moved at night to escape the slaves hunters. These exploits give hope to a lot of slaves, today we think she saved approximately 300 slaves in twenty journeys.
