My first day at school was very special. I walked into this big establishment and didn't know anyone. I had just moved to Paris. I didn't speak French very well and I didn't know the city much. The school principal called, and I ended up in a class that looked cool. I was sitting in the back all alone when suddenly my homeroom teacher told me to come and sit next to a girl. Then he asked me to introduce myself in front of the whole class. Since I have no trouble speaking in front of everyone, I did. Since I was from England I had an accent. The whole class laughed at me, but the girl sitting next to me stood up for me. That's how she and I became best friends. Then she showed me around the city of Paris
