Three weeks after the tragedy in New York, the people of Los Angeles
woke up in panic on Friday morning as a plane crashed on the city centre.
The explosion that followed the crash, killed hundreds of innocent victims.
Everywhere, people were screaming*. Policemen and firefighters
did their best to save the victims.
Unfortunately, a lot of people died and many more were injured. ( blessés )
Three towers collapsed ( se sont effondrées ) and people were buried under the rubble.( les décombres )
The city was wrapped* in smoke
The rescue teams and the survivors were covered in dust
and ashes.
Today, a week after the attacks it appears that terrorists had hijacked the plane.
As a result, the government has promised to fight against terrorism
and declared war on terror.
