The newspaper ''Le Poher'' is located on the main street of Carhaix. It was created in 1996. In fact, it isn't the local edition of a national newspaper but a fully completed local newspaper. It's a weekly newspaper and its territory extends over 3 departments in central Brittany, at the crossroads of the 56, 22, and 29.
