2) Ingredients : flour - cheddar cheese - milk - salt - baking soda - butter
225 grams of flour
a pinch of salt
1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
55g of butter
120g of cheddar cheese
100ml of milk

- Preheat the oven
- Measure 225g of flour
- Add a pinch of salt
- Add one teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
- Measure 55g of butter and dice it into little cubes.
- Add the butter to the flour and rub them together
- Grate 120g of cheddar cheese.
- Add 100g of cheese to the mix ( flour and butter )
- Measure 100ml of milk and pour it into the bowl.
- Mix it all together with your fingers.
- Form a dough.
- Flour the surface.
- Roll the dough to 2cm thick.
- With a glass, cut 6 circles in the dough.
- Line a tray with baking powder.
- Place the scones on the tray.
- Brush the scones with a little bit of milk.
- Sprinkle with a bit of cheese.
- Bake the scones for 15-20 mins in the oven.
