Le past continuous est aussi appelé "prétérit en Be + V-ing"
On utilise l'auxiliaire "Bé" au prétérit, donc "was" ou "were" suivi du verbe + -ing
Pour les formes interrogatives et négatives, étant donné que "BE" est déjà un auxiliaire, on n'utilise pas "did" prétérit de "do".
Interrogation
Was/were + sujet + V-ing + ?
Négation
Sujet + was/were + not + V-ing.
