The koala called The Autralian lazy, is a kind of herbivorious abreal marsupial endemic to Australia et the only still living representative of the Phascolarctidae family. It is found in the coastal regions of South and Eastern Australia, from Adelaide to the southern part of the Cape York Peninsula. The populations also extend over considerable distances in the Australian hinterland (outback), where the humidity is sufficient for the maintenance of forests. The koalas of South Australia were exterminated at the beginning of the 20th century, but this federated state has since been repopulated thanks to transfers from Victoria The koala is closely related to the eucalyptus or gum tree, of which it only eats the leaves of some cash. Males can live an average of 15 years, and females 20 years.
