Sagot :
« The problem we all live with » is a realistic painting. It was painted by Norman Rockwell in 1963. It was published as an illustration for « Look » in 1964. The main character is a black little girl. She is wearing a white dress, white shoes et white socks. She’s holding her school stuff : a copybook, a pen and a ruller. She’s walking right in front of her. She is of profile. She looks in front of her and she looks like she is unemotionless. Around her we can see the street, on the background the wall is engraved by an insult to the black community. There is a tomato that was thrown on the wall and which is now on the floor. The girl is surrounded by four men. They are wearing costumes and a yellow armband, so we can guess they are policemen. They are walking in the same direction than the girl, and we can’t see their face.
