1) Ruby Bridges was famous for being the first african american girl to attend an all white elementary school.
2) Ruby took a test that was espacially difficult so that african americans couldn't pass the test. The test was to determin if she could attend the all white school.
3) Federal marshals protected her against thechildren/teachers because they weren't ok with ruby attending the school and because she recieved threats.
4) Her first day of school was a chaos thus she couldn't study.
5) Bridges couldn't eat at the public canteen because one woman threated her that she would poison her.
6) Her only teacher was Barbara Henry.
7) In her books, she wrote about her early experiences.
8) Ruby established The Ruby Bridges Foundation.
