Martin Luther Ling was one of the most iconic ambassador of the civil rights, especially for Black people.
MLK was born on january 19th, 1929, in Atlanta (Georgia). He graduated in 1944 and started studying religion in a seminary. He got married to Coretta Scott in 1953 and he had 4 children.
In 1954, he became a pastor in a Baptist church in Montgomery (Alabama).
From 1955 to 1956, he took part in the famous Montgomety bus boycott in Alabama, caused by Rosa Parks unfair arrest. He took against segregation.He became well known since this even.
He then travelled all around the world to promote peace and civil rights with his speeches. His most famous was "I have a dream" in 1963, in front of 290 000 people.
He gave his final speech on April 3rd, 1968. The next day, he was shot on the balcony of his motel room.
