Bonjour,
During the weekend, Sarah, a 14 years old young girl was doing her homework while listening to music when she received a plethora/ton (ton choix!) of messages on I.nstagram and S.napchat. Usually, she doesn’t get that many notifications at once and for the first time, it happened. The noises were deafening her so she ran to her phone to put it on mute.. Afterwards, she turned it on again and the name of the girl she hated appeared : Melina shared to the entire school a compromising picture of her... The post got many likes and comments, among which Sarah was made fun of... Not knowing what to do, she just logged off of every social media.
At night while having dinner with her parents, she started crying. Her parents, concerned about her well-being, asked her what happened. Sarah told them that she had been bullied and made fun of on internet. Shocked and annoyed, they reassure her that everything was going to be alright. On Monday they went to school and talked to the principal whom punished Melina who then got expelled for a week.
