In the United States in 1930, there was a lot of racial segregation. However, in 1954, Americans began to fight against segregation. Some celebrities rose to prominence during this period. I have an interview with a person who fought for the civil rights movement alongside Martin Lutherking ans Rosa Parks.

Here is my interview:

- Hi Mr.Mickael

- Hi

- I would like to talk to you about your actions alongside Martin Lutherking and Rosa Parks

- Yes, no problems

- Why did you support them ?

- I did this because I myself was a victim of segregation because of my skin color. But I didn't want to be America's slave though

- Can you explain this point on please ?

- Yes, I can. I supported them because I wanted to offer all Americans the same education, the same jobs with the same paid wages. And I also wanted to stop being judged all the time and be seen as a normal person

- Why are his personalities models for you ?

- Because they are courageous people. For example Martin Lutherking delivered this famous speech, "I have a dream", in front of the Americans. And for Rosa Parks, it is because she was not afraid to refuse to give her place to a white passenger.

Then, Obama was elected president in 2008. He was the first black president.
