A = (5/4 - 16/4)(1/2 + 12/2) - [(5/4)^2 - 4^2]

A = (-11/4)(13/2) - (25/16 - 16)

A = (-143/8) - (25/16 - 256/16)

A = (-143/8) - (-231/16)

A = -143/8 + 231/16

A = -286/16 + 231/16

A = (-55/16)
